What I collect, and what I don't.

What the contact form collects

When you fill out the contact form, you send me your name, email address, optionally your company, and whatever you write in the message. The form is handled by Formspree, a third-party form provider that receives your submission and forwards it to my inbox; their handling of that data is governed by Formspree's own privacy policy. I use what you send for one purpose only — to read your message and reply, and to figure out whether there's something worth talking about.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that sets no cookies and records only aggregate, anonymous numbers — how many people viewed a page and roughly where they came from. It never builds a profile of you as an individual and never follows you to other sites. There are no advertising cookies or cross-site trackers here, which is also why you aren't reading a cookie banner right now.

Who else sees it

No one I don't need to involve. I don't sell, rent, or trade your information, and I don't share it beyond the two services that make the site work: Formspree, which delivers your message to me, and Plausible, which counts anonymous page views. The site itself is served as static files, so there's no visitor database sitting somewhere waiting to leak.

Keeping and removing your information

I keep contact messages only as long as they're useful to the conversation they started. If you'd like me to delete what you've sent — or tell you what I still have — email me at jason@green-owl-technology.com and I'll take care of it.
